- Milk: Primal energy can include milk. Goat milk is the preferred choice as it has many more nutritional qualities than cow's milk, however, when choosing milk, stay away from overly processed and hormone infested varieties. It is best to have milk occasionally and to have it in the rawest form possible.
Not Primal
- Grains: Primal energy does not include wheat, bran, corn, or other grains as they have been overly processed and to eat them in their natural form would be nearly impossible without processing it in some form or another.

- Potatoes
